Goal
Our client, Tim Donahue, is a visionary who started a number of successful businesses over the past 12 years. In 2004, Tim came up with an idea for an online, royalty free international microstock photography website selling images through a credit-based system. The goal was to create a successful stock photos website able to compete with the already existing iStock. In order to achieve it, Tim chose RexSoft as a reliable technology partner to help develop BigStockPhoto from ground up - concept to production.

As a result of the hard work and creative efforts of our team, in a year we developed one of the most successful international stock photo websites in the world, securing high value of the company and further business growth. In 2005 PayPal named BigStockPhoto among the most developed projects in the US market, and in 2009 it was purchased by Shutterstock, a leading provider of digital imagery licensing, operating in more than 150 countries and 20 languages.
